Heart to Heart

For those who don't know, Cammie has released a brand new set through Gina K Designs, Whimsical Autumn. What makes this set extra special is the following from Cammie's blog:

100% of my proceeds from this set will always go to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Please visit Cammie's blog to learn more about her set and her cause.

She wanted everyone to make a card and give it to a caregiver of Alzheimer's patients. I can't believe how fortuitous this was! My husband IS a caregiver of Alzheimer's patients. Naturally, I made a card for him letting him know not only how much I cherish him as my husband, but as a caregiver as well.

Another interesting coincidence - on April 3rd of this year my grandmother passed away from dementia (of which Alzheimer's is a form). Fortunately, her time with the disease was short and her death was relatively swift.

Thank you Cammie for being so generous! See below my card for my husband. (Sorry for the awful scan of it!)

Kindred Spirits

I have really been on a faerie kick lately! Again this is a stamp from my absolute favorite mystical and magical stamp manufacturers - Faerie Song! This also uses some of my favorite fantasy film - which you can get at one of my favorite stores All That Scraps. And those baubles along the bottom are NOT Robin's Nest Dew Drops, but clear accents I picked up from M's (HUGE bag for $4) and colored with my copics to be yellow!

Stamps: Fairy - Faerie Song Art Rubber Stamps
Cardstock: White - Papertrey Ink, Barely Banana/Pretty In Pink/Certainly Celery - SU!
Ink: Noir - Palette
Other:
May Arts Ribbon, Copic Ciao Markers, Fantasy Film, Accents from M's

Dreams

This is another card I made recently utilizing my faerie stamps. This one also uses the fantasy film I mentioned in my last post. Since I've posted two cards with that technique I must post a tutorial soon on exactly how to use it!

First Post!

Hooray, my first post! I'll start it off with a card I made a while ago using some of my absolute favorite fairy stamps! I love the whimsical style of these and there are SO many available! You can find these fairy stamps here. I colored in my fairy with copic ciao markers. You might notice the fairy wings are a little iridescent. I used one of my favorite products to create that look - fantasy film! Maybe someday in the future I'll post a tutorial on how I created those wings.

Stamps: Fairy - Faerie Song Art Rubber Stamps, Bloom - Papertrey Ink
Cardstock: White - Papertrey Ink, Creamy Caramel/Green Galore/Almost Amethyst - SU!, Purple - Bazzill
Ink: Noir/New Canvas - Palette
